Just finished up a great weekend in Edinburgh. It was one of rare and fabled sunny weekends, where you can sit outside cafe bars. Edinburgh is gorgeous in the sunshine, such a beautiful city. As the sun shines it makes me dream of summer, and summer makes me dream of cocktails.

I think I know cocktails quite well, and a class in making them has been on my bucket list for ages. I work at Steak Edinburgh, a cool city centre Steak House, with cocktail bar and boutique hotel. (there’s so much going on at Picardy place you have to come see for yourself!)
Needless to say, I was delighted when word come round we were going to have cocktail making lessons. A sunny Sunday found me in Twelve Bar, mixing up classic cocktails such as Tom Collins, Old Fashioned, Martini’s, as well as new comers Cosmopolitans, Expresso Martini’s and Mojitos. Oh man it was fun.
I don’t think there’s a single person around who doesn’t associate cocktails with fun, I blame Tom Cruise.
