I Wasn’t Looking for Love…

…and then I found you.

People call me romantic all the time like it is a bad thing.

I can reassure EVERYONE it is not. I hold on to my romantic notions in a romantic notion way, probably on a hillside smiling and running in the wind, with a decent song as the soundtrack.

I make no secret of the fact I love romance.

Yet, I find so many people give me a hard time for it, maybe giggle and say ‘Oh Karlie…you’re such a romantic, life isn’t like that’

I have to say, I didn’t just arrive here by Magic. I have had my ups, and downs and then some. I know a lot of things about the ugly, unromantic sides of life. I know relationships can be fraught and unenjoyable, yet, still, I believe in romance.

I also, believe people have been pulling my leg. I think they too, believe in romance and romantic notions, and magic. They’re just not ready to admit to it.

Maybe they have had one or two bad experiences and they tarnish their whole romantic life on that. How many times do you hear your friends say, ‘men are all the same’ or ‘girls are rubbish’. Simply not true.

I know that love does not always work out for everyone, but I also know, that holding on to bitterness and perhaps more importantly, taking no responsibility for your own part in it, is futile, and basically, silly.

Researching my latest book, I am sure, SURE, that everyone believes in Romance. And more importantly, I think they want to.

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was
wondering what all is needed to get set up?
I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I’m not very internet savvy so I’m not 100% positive. Any suggestions or advice
would be greatly appreciated. Appreciate it
